In 2026, that legacy continues with the ACE Experience 2026 (ACEx2026), a bold, future-focused convening designed to turn pressure into progress.

About ACEx2026

ACEx2026 will gather college and university leaders in Washington, DC to explore the urgent issues shaping higher education today and tomorrow. Through a series of events, including the 2026 ACE Annual Meeting, participants will engage in high-level dialogue, share insights across roles, and help c​hart a path forward for the sector.

This gathering is built around three core themes:

  • Grand Challenges: Addressing the most complex global issues impacting higher education, from democracy and climate change to academic freedom and public trust
