Description

Objective:

The course objective is to build students' understanding of numbers and how to use and interpret them. Students learn how to apply mathematics in a way that will positively inform their world. Through straightforward approaches for fundamental math and algebra, students create meaning and see the world in a new way by exploring the following topics: real numbers, linear equations and inequalities, exponential and logarithmic functions, finance, and probability and statistics.
