Description

Objective:

To become a Blue Card Instructor Trainer for respective fire department. The requires the students to garner an understanding of the curriculum package and the record management system. As a certification program, continuing education and recertification is required.

Learning Outcomes:

  • understand and perform their individual role when operating within the Blue Card system
  • understand the Blue Card system as a whole and its benefit to the entire fire department response
  • deliver and manage more effective and safer hazard zone incident operations

  • Review the functions of command (refresher from the online training program) Student teaching assignments to familiarize students with curriculum Simulation evaluations on five main building types Mayday data review and mayday management simulations Instructor tools, Classroom management, RMS introduction
