The IT Specialist: Computational Thinking exam assesses competency in employing strategies for understanding and solving problems in ways that leverage the power of computer technologies to develop solutions. Computational Thinking covers how to decompose problems, collect and analyze data, recognize patterns in data, represent data through abstractions, and automate solutions by using algorithmic thinking.
An individual earning this certification has at least 150 hours of instruction or hands-on experience with digital literacy and logical reasoning skills, but no programming language skills are required.
