The course objective is to explore human development from the moment of conception through infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and death. This course offers the opportunity for students to dive into topics such as the process of physical, cognitive, psychological, and psychosocial development throughout life. Students will be exposed to concepts about both physical development, such as the impact of genetics, and the cultural differences in development and life experiences. This course also provides students the ability to compare these concepts to their own personal lives while also allowing them to follow the process of life for one individual through an eleven-part video series.
