Description

Objective:

Using a functional, interactive approach, students will experience the everyday life of a CRD, BOD, and/or BRD across various recreation programs and situations. This course covers topics including Financial Management, Communication, Personnel Management and Strategic Planning within the Community Recreation and Business Operations Division. The course is intended for Recreation and Business Program Managers who possess the drive and desire to become Division Chiefs within the next five years.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop staff, training and resources to support short and long CRD and BOD project/programming requirements
  • Describe program value, contribution and changes that support needs of the Army and Garrison communities
  • Calculate financial analysis to support short and long term planning and decision making
  • Apply a Strategic Planning process model to a capstone project
  • Outline long range project planning to include planning inputs and outputs; planning analysis, CPMC projects, and strategic goals and objectives outlining garrison plan for way ahead
