The course objective is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to be able to apply proven maintenance techniques to properly maintain water utility pumps and motors.This course utilizes the TEEX Mobil Pump and Motor Maintenance trailer to provide students with hands-on training opportunities designed to help each learn more about planning, scheduling and budgeting maintenance for pump and motor equipment. Additionally, subject matter experts will provide instruction on the installation pumps, pump and motor types, lubricants, and related pump and motor safety practices. The successful completion of this course qualifies the student to receive 20 hours of TCEQ water operators licensing credit, and 20 hours of wastewater operators licensing credit.
